One of the most important lessons that we must provide to the little ones is respect for the environment and nature. Recycling everyday waste at home will be vital for their awareness and will bring your children closer to the responsibility of keeping the planet clean and realizing that they are very important to be able to achieve it.
Our advice is to explain to children the reasons why it is so important to recycle and keep our planet clean. Children need to know the reasons why they are doing something and understand it.

THE RULE OF THE 3 R’s
Reduce the amount of garbage we throw away.
Reuse containers and bags, especially if they are made of plastic.
Recycle materials by throwing them into their corresponding container.
RECYCLING AT HOME
The first thing is that the children associate the types of containers with their color.
YELLOW CONTAINER:
Inside the yellow container, we must deposit: bottles and plastic containers, metal containers and bricks.
Most common mistakes: There is a tendency to think that all plastic products can be deposited in this container, but this isn’t the case. Shouldn’t be deposited: plastic toys, bottles and pacifiers, kitchen utensils and plastic buckets.
BLUE CONTAINER:
Inside the blue container can be recycled food packaging, footwear, frozen products, wrapping paper, everyday paper...
Most common mistakes: cartons like milk, always in the yellow container.
GREEN CONTAINER:
Inside the green container can be deposited glass bottles (wine, champagne...), glass jars (such as perfumes or colognes) or food jars (jams, preserves, etc.) in the green container.
Most common mistakes: Very important to differentiate glass from crystal! Green should only deposit glass.
BROWN OR ORGANIC CONTAINER:
What must be deposited in this container is: food remains such as fruit skins, fish bones, plants, eggshells or grounds; or used napkins and kitchen paper.

THE ADVICE OF PANDA WORLD
For a good environmental education it is essential that children understand the importance of recycling is that they take the example of adults. Therefore, some guidelines must be followed every day:
Select the products we consume, taking into account the possibility of reusing packaging.
Avoid, as far as possible, buying wrapped products. Buying in bulk we can avoid most packaging of products such as fruit and vegetables.
Use plastic bags as much as possible, such as garbage or shopping bags.
Recycle the papers we use at home, using both sides.
Use energy saving light bulbs.
Don't leave unnecessary lights on.
Be an example: Do not throw garbage or waste in the street.
For the smallest of the house we can organize a series of games and activities that will serve as awareness:
Draw or paint the different recycling bins.
Create new toys with waste.
Reward for recovering recyclable objects.
